imagine a timeline, with no start nor no end. aka an infinite timeline.
if you decide to look att his hypothetical ifninite timeline, would it be possible for a finite number to be shown? because if so, the timeline isnt infinite. wich we have clearly stated that it is.
so what would you be looking at?

Ya, pick a point to be your origin and pick another point. The distance between these two points is finite, if you want you can define this as your unit or "one" and mark some more points the same distance apart to make a line of integers.
