Well, he's certainly "no nonsense." There is very little extraneous content. I think they are pretty fast moving too. If your mind wanders you will quickly be left behind.

I don't see it as any more boring than Khan Academy videos though, and the level is much higher.

His videos helped me out when I was struggling.

Though to be honest at the time I found his style very hard to grasp. Looking back on it now it feels like it's presented in the most trivial way ever. This makes me question how useful his material really is for students who are still new to mathematics.
