Is there any point in learning advanced math/science if I never plan on getting a degree? I find it interesting enough, but I don't want to waste my time if nothing will come of it other than dick-jerking and bragging rights.

>other than dick-jerking and bragging rights.
You should learn advanced math/science if you want to.
If you only ever found and interest for the value of dick-jerking and bragging rights, then you were misguided from the start. Thats never a reason to do anything let alone a career/hobby.

You could start with something more practically which gives you advantages in your everday life, e.g. a programming language or electronics.

I like the theory, but I'm not much of a technology guy. I feel like I have a learning deficiency whenever I try coding.

What counts as purpose? If you mean building hobby projects, then, for example, classical mechanics and electromagnetic field theory could be useful, but quantum mechanics and general relativity probably not so much.

This makes me even more confounded what you mean by "a significant purpose." The usual application of science is technology stuff.

What kind of hobby project is this supposed to be? Building your own Maglev?

That's a possibility. Amateur radio would be another.

I guess in either case fundamental electronics would be a better start.

Definitely agreed on that.

You can consider it a way to put context into what electricity is. Context is super important for learning and understanding things.

By the same argument you could say most of the things operating near the speed of light or at small scales is governed by relativity or quantum physics anyway so let's scrap all high school physics!
In order to learn or teach you need to take small steps and establish contexts. If you don't only a very small percentage of the students will learn anything.
