Can we talk grad school?
I just got accepted to Pharmacy School.
Are professional degrees even worth it these days?
Are any of you accepted/going to grad school? If so what disipline? Do you regret it?

After financial aid and merit aid I'll be 26k in the hole every year for 4 years.

If you want to pursue a career in academia or you want an advanced industry position, yes.

In my fourth year, genetics and molecular biology. Don't regret it, but I am extremely lucky and have a reasonable PI. I know other people who have been thoroughly fucked by the system.

I went straight for a PhD program and get paid to be here. The only debt I have is lingering undergrad student loans.
