Because I'm too stupid to do well in a real /sci/ major and I want to be able to pass as smart to idiots in HR departments who think CS is hard.

Because who wants to spend most of their time being a subpar 'scientist' grinding your ass at academia hoping you can be become a research assistant after like 30 years of studying, when you can make more than comfortable living and fuck qts all day?

To do research.Cs is so bare bones you should be able to double major in something like math or physics.

Maybe because most of the current knowledge and discoveries we have today piggyback off the work of CS majors. But lol what would I know, I'm just a dumb brainlet making 200k a year right?
