Can string theory and quantum mechanics be explained using simple language?
No.
yes, but it takes a gorillion years
Not if you really want to understand it.

If you consider derived categories of coherent sheaves simple.
String theory- fundamental nature of reality= tiny vibrating strings
quantum mechanics= physics at a subatomic level

Shit happens, and it's kind of fuzzy.
yes it can
should i do it?

isn't that wizard-tier QFT?
i think you could probably go over basic string theory without going that deep

Of course you can describe basic String Theory without a bunch of higher algebra, but the "correct" way to model D-branes is as coherent sheaves and the collections of branes and antibranes as a complex of coherent sheaves.

yes no maybe

i dont know

ye
>string theory
everything is made up of really tiny strings
>quantum mechanics
particles do strange things
Quantum mechanics is what reality is actually like. What we think of as "everyday life" is the weird shit. All cultures and everything we do in them is nothing more than a bunch mental shortcuts. We recognize patterns, we generalize from them, and take this rudimentary framework of generalizations for our "reality". No wonder no one can agree on anything. Every person's "reality" can be understood to be its own, small culture.

I do not see the problem...
Energy is just a linear form, it is not hard to get.
