just pick up a few programming languages instead. same thing pretty much.
We have a fuck load of job opportunities and with or without a degree. Fags will say "but if you do it for the money you're not contributing shit." Just let the Ferrari you will get talk for itself my bro. Computer science is gold in this century and the next.
mechanical engineering is a shit tier meme field
ps. i dropped out of CS after 3rd year and make over $200k freelancing.

Ikr tired of hearing morons say "don't do it for the money." There is no other reason to go to college. If you're not going to invest in your future, why even waste your time? If I just want to learn something, I can use the internet and not waste thousands and thousands of dollars.
Just looked up the job growth. Pretty astounding. What are the courses like?
Do neither and major in physics

why is it a shit tier meme field?
Non-CS STEM job prospects = 1 in 10 graduates get relevant job, rest work at starbucks or spend a decade in a entry level low paying meaningless job
CS job prospects = After graduation recruiters are literally lined around your house, offering you their daughters virginity in exchange for simply considering their job offer

>After graduation
>implying you even need a degree for recruiters to hunt you down for a CS job

lol not falling for that one

Second year CS student here,
I mean, my dad is a mech engineer, and between him and my mom they make about $130,000 a year
Is CS salary really that high compared to the average engineer?
Also should I do computer science or software engineering? They offer both courses at my uni but SE is 4 years and CS is 3 years?
