Is architecture a good career choice? It looks like a good mix of art and science, seems creatively satisfying, can lead to other possible design opportunities

Pick one.

Only if you go to top 5 schools.
Other then that, no.
Also, I would recommend studying civil engineering for undergrad and architecture for masters
My dad is an architect and throughout my lifetime he's subtly implied that architecture should be your last career choice if you want a satisfying job and no stress.

Much like in music, only the big dogs get to do all the fun stuff.
Most design industrial projects, hallways and other generic utilitarian stuff.

If you want a mix between art and math you should become a graphics programmer.
Lots of linear algebra. Writing things like realistic real time water shaders, planet renderers with correct atmosphere, ect...
It's amazing being able to create your own virtual worlds.

That sounds interesting but I don't think I'll have a huge advantage if I go to uni for that

>architecture
>science

from architecture a uni you learn how to draw
from graphics you learn math and programming
choose wisely

Even if that's true, you can't become an architect unless you graduate from a certified uni like a doctor or a pilot, graphic design can be self taught to an extent no?

computer graphics is not graphics design, architecture graduates are more of graphics designers in the end and cg engineers are just programmers in the end.
For the licence, there are multiple legal and illegal ways to bypass that

Pick one, faggot.*

im an architect, it has nothing to do with science in the sense that is implied here. 0
0% science
it is an art
