if i continue down this path will i slowly transcend mankind?
We all slowly transcend mankind.
It's called aging.

Most definitely OP.

No, you'll just catch a really bad case of autism.
Well, yeah sure. You will start to notice the category theoretical structures everywhere. You can skip a lot of little things in your proofs utilizing category theory, too. Moreover, it gives a myriad of general info for free after one has shown something to be a category.
You should still be careful, as there are some funny things that could surprise you! For example, if you consider the category of Hausdorff spaces and continuous maps, epimorphisms are not necessarily surjective, but, taking as objects all the topological spaces and as morphisms all continuous maps, then they are.

I feel like that about set theory the basics of which I learn as a part of analysis course. What is category theory?
>>8383932
You have two collections, one of objects and the other of morphisms that are associative, and for every object you have an identity morphism

Category theory is pleb-shit.
Here are some simple and easy math questions to get you started on real shit.

what math do you need to solve these?

Thanks, I'm actually taking that semester. Looks like I'm going to have a bit to learn.
