Are there any real scientific arguments against eugenics or is its opposition based mainly around feels due to le ebil sixty million man?
Eugenic policies eventually lead to a loss of genetic diversity, resulting in inbreeding depression instead due to a low genetic variation.

humans evolved to feel empathy for their peers, and thus a "cruel" eugenics program would likely cause deep emotional distress with large segments of the population, who would then distress all of their friends and family.
this looks like it would lower effective productivity of a nation's industry by a large margin.
also eugenics programs in animals do not produce the most "effective" organisms.
also you can't breed away female inferiority.

yes, it requires centralization of a competitive system. centralization of competitive systems does not work
it's the communist side of genetic

Women are aborting downies and other defectives in droves, 100 years most of the time they'd just drop them off in orphanages I think you're overemphasizing how empathetic most people really are.

This.

>Eugenic policies eventually lead to a loss of genetic diversity, resulting in inbreeding depression instead due to a low genetic variation.
What a load of bullshit.
>>8340943
If you say so.

Aborting something that isn't even fully conscious is different to forcibly sterilizing a grown human.

Inbreeding is only a threat when genetic diversity is strongly reduced, such as procreating within a family unit. You aint gonna get any inbreeding with mere eugenics.

>also eugenics programs in animals do not produce the most "effective" organisms.
But they do. Animal breeding programs signigicantly surpass nature in what they want to achieve, be it intelligence, health, or making more milk and meat.
The fact is, if there were no ethical barriers, eugenics would certainly work on humans, too.
But there are such barriers.
Better wait for genetic engineering which may very well accomplish the same advances in a cleaner, faster and ethical manner.

>Is an uthopy viable?
>doesn't talk about the process
Let the brainlets take the bait.

I saw a couple of retards with a retarded baby at the supermarket.
Thank god that kiddo will save us from inbreeding (if he doesn't kill himself first).

well its based on the fallacy that humanity has a 'destiny' and that humanity really is a thing beyond individual experiences. There is no 'humanity' to benefit from eugenics as eugenics are just one groups idea of genetic perfection.
