What's up with dark matter/energy?
Do we really not know what 95% of the universe is made of?
What could it possibly be?
something something quantum mechanics, something something consciousness

So called gravitons.
It is possible that they're doing the math wrong, and the universe is mostly just 'normal' matter?
Dark matter/energy is just God.
if we only know what 95% of the universe is made of, could the other 5% possibly explain god, free will and the human soul?
Dark matter/energy is just a placeholder.
We need dark matter and energy to exist, because if it doesn't everything we've been learning about the universe gets disproven and we start from square one.
If someone ever shows concrete evidence to the non-existence of dark matter it would probably be the worst scientific discovery of all time.

Sometimes i feel like they thought to themselves. There is a lot of shit we dont know about the universe, lets just come up with a catch all name for that shit.

It's not, dark matter is matter we detected indirectly.
Dark energy has been detected indirectly.
We don't know what causes it.
String theory and the like are trying to explain it.
Most likely, when we reconcile GR with QM, these energies will be found
