I'm learning about Chemistry for the first time Via Crash Course.
on this video now, it's a long series:

This shit is confusing the fuck out of me - am I brainlet, or will Khan Academy do a better job at explaining it?
How can you not get that? Wtf

Bump
You're a brainlet, m8.
That's shit you learn in high school.

I couldn't get past the part where the energy is animated as his BFF. Just explicitly ask about what's confusing you, otherwise we can't help. No self respecting person is going to sit through this cringey shit. Sorry bro.
>Khan academy
sure why not. He is good for going over examples while Crash Course is usually better at explaining the concepts (except this particular video makes me want to quit science from embarrassment).

I didn't learn it in high school though. I told you I'm learning about chemistry for the first time

Basically, I'm wanting to prep myself for a Chemistry course in college next month (the 26th of Sept, so plenty of time?)
and I'm requesting ways to prep myself for it

Alright, well then crash course is a good resource. Keep watching the videos.

>This shit is confusing the fuck out of me
What shit? be more specific so I don't have to watch the 11 minutes of pure shit.

Khan academy is best for math.
I suggest reading a chemistry textbook. choose carefully.
>watching Crash Course for anything
Dude, just go Khan Academy, Sal explaining is miles ahead of any vid you will ever watch on CC.
Trust me, I tried the same thing as you, for physics though.

chill chem bro
In chemistry, the enthalpy you care about is the change in the energy of chemical bonds and intermolecular forces in a process. A process is enthalpically favorable when stronger(lower energy) bonds/intermolecular interactions are formed. Ignore all that shit about work. Now light up a fatty, think about that and then watch more videos.
