How do I build a pressure cooker that reaches 6,000 PSI? I'm missing an important search term I'm sure. Because I'd love to see science on it.
Pic unrelated
Right now I'm looking at Bernoulli’s Equation for a Rotating Fluid.
Seeing if that will lead me to what I want.

are you retarded? you probably shouldnt be building a 6kpsi vessel.

I can't think of any situation in which this would be a good idea.

Wow.
1. You don't need 6000 PSI to build a bomb. What the fuck
2. I'm trying to fast-fossilize algae to produce crude oil that can be further refined into gasoline.
Is this the userbase of /sci/? People so dull they can't envision a scenario in which someone would need high heat and pressure in a lab?
Maybe it's time to reflect as a board. It's been useful for boards like /a/. Your subject matter is wildly different. But you have a culture problem. Address it.
I'll continue research on my own. I have no faith my words will reach anyone here based on the responses ITT.
Imagine if alien life visited us in secret. We'd fail any test. I am so disappointed in what used to be a great community.

Ah, I apologize for including you in my rant. This is incredibly useful.
I'm thinking about building a huge one and maybe rotating it as well to fossilize large amounts of algae and make fuel creation economically viable.

Algae fuel is a fucking meme. It can't scale, because of fertilizer and shit. There are huge energy costs just to get the goddamn water out.
Oh and you want to 'fossilize' algae. You fucking don't. Some strains make a large amount of lipids already, which is why algal biodiesel seemed like a good idea.

the search term is
ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC)

You dont need to remove the water if you just duplicate the heat and pressure of earth over millions of years.
Fossil fuels are effective. The next step for man is utilising fuels from modern sunlight rather than prehistoric sunlight.
That's what charcoal is. Doing the same to algae to produce crude oil is how im approaching this.

Awesome. I feel really foolish for doubting this place now.

that pic is very fucking related
