how do you deal with mediocrity /sci/?
I am utterly failing electrodynamics while all my classmates are doing just fine

You have two options:
>Drop out and pick a course you actually like before its too late
>kys
I simply accepted that I will never be good enough
don't give up
Remember that the talmudic bongo player had a low IQ.

Don't listen to this fag.
OP give up NOW. You are a failure. Stop breathing the same air as other productive humans in the classroom
>>8064374
That's actually sub-mediocrity.
Kinda failing in AC subject in Electronics, with all the integral crap and circuit theory, and I'm supposed to like this.
The thing is that I moved from uni to a technical school to have an easier time and I'm struggling nevertheless, being so mediocre hurts.
>>8064427
This, trying is the first step toward failure.
>>8064374
Try harder. Really.
Just by reading the problems and writing the solutions can help you improve a lot even though you might not even understand what you are doing. But when you get used to it, understanding will suddenly become more intuitive.
Do that day and night, until you can solve problems yourself.

Also, try div grad curl and all that by schey. It might help you. .
work fucking hard
I used to be horrible at math during high school because fuck meaningless symbols
with computer science I could finally FEEL why math is important
now I am a phd student in theoretical computer science
>>8064474
and a dumb frogposter, that's what math does to people (or is it cs?)
>>8064455
I'd second this advice just for the song recommendation.
>>8064456
Integral crap and circuits are built out of
simpler crap and circuits. Do small problems,
writing and practicing. Your struggle
is not necessarily some character flaw.
Build up your collection of worked problems,
and organize them.
>>8064374
take modafinil and work your ass off without the suffering and concentration loss for 14 hours 3 times a week maybe 4
>>8064374
>mediocrity
If you are taking an electrodynamics class you are already way more intelligent than a lot of people. Hardly mediocre
Keep pushing OP. Having to struggle for success is ultimately more rewarding than just being a gifted autist
Just work hard and don't give up, faggot
Nothing worth it ever comes easy and your classmates probably had a better foundation, so your problem is probably vector calc not necessarily the physics

this desu
>>8064494
This.
I used to do an arts degree and I got 75-90% each semester but now I'm doing pure math and if I get a C+ or B, I'm stoked. Whenever I feel shit for failing a math assignment or having a bad test I remember that doing a math degree is a hard thing and most people will respect you immensely for it, even if you aren't the greatest at it.
