Is there any music that helps you while studying or at least doesn't decrease you focus? I like listening to music while studying because I lose more the sight of time and get distracted less by the outerworld but with many songs albums genres etc. the music ends up being almost as distracting as the outer world

I personally listen to Ambient music when I need to get work done.
Here are some example tracks:

Hopefully these work for you anon. Putting a track from this into pandora will gen up a pretty decent station, from my experience.

Mostly shoegaze, or music without vocals. If I can focus on lyrics too easily, it fucks me up.
>>

Listen to things you liked but have heard many times before. That way you don't have to focus as much in the music, but it's just as pleasant.
>>
I have a big, hours-long collection of ambient music, I usually just put all those albums on back-to-back when I need to study. I think the fact it's got few lyrics and I've listened to it all many times helps me to focus too.
I tried jazz once, but it's too engaging and I get distracted.

Usually throw on some chill music like this or Kanye West's Yeezus. Puts me in a focused mindset.

I don't listen to music for actual studying or doing problem sets but if I'm organizing a schedule, making studying guides, or programming I'll use adult swim bumps at background noise. That or Telemann concertos because he wrote a metric fuck ton of music.

I tend to just listen to classical. There's plenty of good collections on youtube, such as this:

I generally prefer video game soundtracks. They are designed to keep you focused but not distract from your objective. My favorite is Portal 2.

That being said

ambient music or white noise if you want to block the world out
>>
>>8010763
>white noise
Brown noise is better (more power in the lower octaves). Sounds like a waterfall or being on an airplane. It sounds more natural, isn't as hissy as white noise, and helps drowning out some lower-pitch noises that might come from your surroundings.

This might sound familiar, but it's pretty chill. Too bad the Jake doesn't release albums, just soundcloud links/youtube uploads https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Q_47b507vg
