Is there a scientific reason why do so many men have chin scars?
Pic related, I couldn't help but notice, that a lot, and I mean a LOT of men have chin scars. Me, my best friend, cousin, also a few classmates etc.
What gives?
People fall on their chins.

Tbqh, I can't remember how I got mine.

My brother got one from falling from his bike. Chin scar are just more noticable than other scar because
a) they're in your face
b) hair doesn't grow there

>hy do so many men have chin scars
is this even true? i dont think I've met one guy with a chin scar yet
in fact, I see a lot of people with scars on their faces, I even have one, but never specifically a scar on their chin
>anon is working on an object
>anon pulls too hard on tool/brace/whateverthefuckanonispullingon
>object smacks anon on the face and draws blood
>anon says "welp, never doing that again!"
Some variant of this scenario. I have a scar on my lip from where I was under a car, my wrench slipped, and busted my lip

I have a chin scar and my two best friends also have chin scars. Thought we were an oddity. Got mine by falling chin first on the ground while running when I was a kid.

This. Mine was from an ice skating accident when I was about 8. Fortunately it was small enough that the doctor superglued it instead of using sutures.

Men tend to do more dangerous stuff that can result in falling on your chin. I've got a pretty big one from falling on the concrete floor in our basement when I was 6 or 7.
