I doubt you'd be able to make a human turn back into a child for reasons of immortality. Lots of crazy futurist types (like OP?) think we're close to immortality because something-something telomerase, but there's a lot more to it than that. You certainly can't just stop ageing by preventing telomere shortening.
If ever we can make a human immortal, it will not be in our lifetime.
