Yes, but only for themselves. They aren't even in the nuclear wasteland, they are below it. They do not care about anyone but themselves and have said there is no hope for the commonwealth/they don't care about it. They are also making terminators that could unleash the apocalypse that could finish off humanity.. Syths are already escaping and treated like shit by the scientists.. If the cousers turn say goodbye to humanity. They say synths aren't humans but are the future of humanity, which makes no sense. Japan cared about science in WWII, doesn't make them good.

Pretty much most of the micro-PCs you can find all over the internet from a range of companies. Some are great some are shit. But, the fact is we've got that part licked.

We have the tech right now to do most anything. It is the lack of actual want, need, sensibility, and funding that is the problem. Just because it looks cool in a movie or video game doesn't mean it has a real use in the real world. A "synth" is something that isn't needed for any reason. There are far better robot and AI designs that can do a larger range of jobs/tasks than ones limited to a human form factor or human method of thinking.

I work on artificial muscles, and I thin we will need semi-advanced nanotechnology to make good artificial muscles. By semi-advanced I mean the capability to scale up rotaxane artificial muscles.

And before you ask, I work on light powered artificial muscles, no they are not suitable for humanoids.

Destroy the institute and Unleash superhuman synths upon the commonwealth because you think they're sentient and have rights and in the process doom humans to extinction. at least the institute has some control over their weapon, not enough to make them good though.

The institute's technology is advanced but too much of this is focused on synth production and synth retention. It was foolish to ever make synths that look like humans, there is literally no reason for it other than infiltrating the commonwealth and very risky for humans.

I do think the worst part of the game conceptually is that curie was never able to synthesize the production of a universal cure. She collected all the data necessary in her memory banks and with the resources of the institute it might actually be feasible yet nothing came of it.

Clearly you weren't paying attention. The point of synths is to create a more durable and more intelligent human that can thrive in the wasteland instead of just surviving. The only reason they are infiltrating the commonwealth is to test this technology.

Also, everyone seems to forget that unlike the Railroad and Brotherhood, siding with the Institute makes you the Director. So if there is some policy you don't like, you can change it.
