Interesting observation. I did some digging, and I cant find any record of chris langan winning a nobel prize. Very strange. That could either mean that

A. he does not have the highest iq, or

B. iq is not the sole requisite for academic success.

By discarding the nonsense answers, we can conclude that he does not have the highest iq. This will be quite a shock to the intellectual community!
