Also there are far more philosophers and philosophical arguments which make the case for God and religion than just Kierkegaard. Youtube is his hobby, not his job.

He works in science, rather than industry, because he likes doing interesting work more than making money. He already gets a steady paycheck for doing research that nobody else is doing, so I don't see why he'd want to change.
