Weather discussion topic I guess. I just finished my degree in meteorology with a focus in thunderstorms. Ask me shit.

What is your stance on the role of humans in climate change?
>>
>>7715604
I said meteorology, not climatology.
>>
What effect does man made climate change have on meteors and their ology?
>>
>>7715607
Again, ask a climatologist. I only focused on thunderstorms and local topographic effects on their formation, strength, and lifespans.

Ok , why does areas like Dallas,tx get a shit load of rain all at once! In other words greater volume of rain, in less time then most places?

Oh why are most female meteorologists hot as fuck?
>>
In your professional opinion, do thunderstorms have emotions?
>>

If a mouse gets hit by lightning, will it become Pikachu? How would I go about doing this?
>>

I guess he have up on answering.

Do we really need a meteorologists to handle local weather on the nightly news? Don't they just read the wire from the National Weather Service?

Seriously, people just want to know if it's going to rain or snow, and what the temperature will be. The rest is fluff.

Elm around here we do, the bnational weather service is great but they have a country to monitor, most of our meteorologist's help when tornados are coming. They are able to do their past to give a little more warning
>>
I read that the earths magnetic field switches constantly, is this true? if yes, when does this occur and does it impact the building of storms?

I know where south and north pole is but that's pretty much it. What is the magnetic polarisation at the meridian? +,-,0 ?
