Is it possible with today's technology to convert light into sound ?
>>
Yes. You use a spectrometer to identify the spectrum of light and then associate a sound frequency with each peak in the spectrum.

Depends on your definition of convert
>>
If somewhere along the line on your internet connection, there's a fiber optic cable, then any sound you download off the internet is converting light to sound, with a few steps in between.
>>
What about converting light into a solid
>>

Now we're talking

Interesting,
Light does actually have mass. So I do wonder if that could be a possibility.
>>
>>7683714
It doesn't have mass in the conventional sense, but if you mean it has momentum and interacts gravitationally, then yes. But it doesn't have actual mass.
>>
>>7683721
Hmm, but in that instance, how does a black hole actually manage to eat it?
>>
>>7683733
I can't tell if you're trolling or genuinely interested. Black holes don't eat anything. The geometry of space is just so warped around them that it's like no matter which way you look, it's towards the center. Extremely simplified, but it works as an analogy.
>>

Easy: scan something then 3D print it.
>>

it happens every day

>apply light to area
>apply absolute zero
>results?
Idk im a medfag and dont know anything
>>
I have a professor who grows some funky crystals that vibrate and hum when you shoot a laser at them. Bretty cool.

Mfw this man is an actual genius.

I sure hope you're putting that mind to good use.
