yes, i had many stupid moments
>Now attacks any new ideas because his own childhood ideas were trashed.
no, its because most new ideas are trash and most people are fucking morons
>Claims to not care about money
you only care about money if you dont have it, or you're a jew by definition
>Laughs at non-STEM graduates for being "unemployable"
no, they should've seen it coming though
>Claims to be an engineer after two or three years in university
physicist*

used cad once in school, it was boring
>Has no evidence that there is no God but believes so regardless
thats why its called believe you retard

come on now

>>7662640
>Above average IQ
True but just by a small margin.
>Thinks that this is relevant
I'm not an autist so no.
>Only knows calculus in any detail
I know a few other things
>Terrified of his own eventual death, obsessed with immortality
As an atheist I've come to terms with death. I do not care about when my conscience ends.
>Poor diet, does little exercise
Unfortunately true but I'm trying to increase the amount of exercise I do. And I am not fat, actually pretty skinny. Doing exercise to get muscle.
>Believes himself to be a genius
I won't believe myself to be a genius until I prove a new theorem that changes mathematics forever.
>Is only good at one narrow subject field and not even anywhere near the best at it.
We can only do one thing in college right? Unless you are autistic and do double-major. But my university psychology test said that I'm good at learning and applying that knowledge pretty fast so in theory I could succeed in many things.
>Used to be full of "clever" ideas as a kid
I do not remember. Probably not.
>Now attacks any new ideas because his own childhood ideas were trashed.
Completely false. Nobody does this.
>Claims to not care about money
I only care about getting enough for my own needs. That is why I'm unnafected by faggots who claim that they are better than me because their meme degree will pay them more. But obviously money is pretty important if you do not want to live a shit life.
>Laughs at non-STEM graduates for being "unemployable"
I only laugh at gender studies types who are literally unemployable. Even an artist can succeed and I admire many artists myself.
>Claims to be an engineer after two or three years in university
Not an engineer. But I do not claim to be a mathematician because I am just a retarded student, no where near to the geniuses of my field.
>Never actually designed anything, can barely even use CAD software.
Like I said, I'm not studying cad-monkeying. I mean, engineering.

>>7662640
>Has no evidence that there is no God but believes so regardless
I choose my believes. Arguments that assume that there is no god are more consistent than arguments that assume that there is. This is specially true for religions like Islam and Christianity that are so inconsistent that there is no one "christianity", there is a fuckload of denominations because of how inconsistent it is.
>Looks down on those who have no evidence that there is a God but believes so regardless
I do not look down on anyone who is a good person. Christians and muslims that do not do suicide bombings are good people. I do not criticize believe unless they use it as fuel for harm.
>Doesn't believe in aliens
I believe the possibility of aliens existing is pretty high.
>Disdain for pop-sci
Not for popsci but for people who like popsci. These people just memorize a bunch of vsauce videos and then talk like they are experts. Like when a 12 year old comes here to talk about quantum mechanics and he cannot present well argumented opinions because he hasn't even done a quantum mechanics 101 for babies class.
>Pop-sci is where he got all his knowledge on relativity and quantum mechanics from
That is true for me but that is because I am not a physics student. I also get knowledge from what other anons post here but I am actually not interested in quantum mechanics or anything related to physics. Pure mathematics is way more appealing.

>Above average IQ
By definition half of everybody is gonna be below average. Why I never beat myself up if I'm on the wrong side of the grading curve.
>Thinks that this is relevant
Nope
>Believes himself to be a maths expert
I'm retarded af
>Only knows calculus in any detail
Debatable, doubt I could even do much calc anymore
>Terrified of his own eventual death, obsessed with immortality
Not at all
>Poor diet, does little exercise
Shit diet (gallon of milk a day, no carbs all protein), exercise 3 hours a day before class.
>Believes himself to be a genius
No, impostor syndrome is more likely senpai.
>Is only good at one narrow subject field and not even anywhere near the best at it.
Accurate. All I can do well is fuel cell design and thermodynamics at this point. Everything else I've forgotten.
>Used to be full of "clever" ideas as a kid
Yeah. Like digging a 3 foot hold and thinking it was only a matter of time before I reach the core.
>Now attacks any new ideas because his own childhood ideas were trashed.
Peer critique =/= trashing
>Claims to not care about money
All i care about is money. I wouldn't have put myself through an engineering degree if I thought taking genders was going to get me an equally cushy job.
>Laughs at non-STEM graduates for being "unemployable"
To an extent. I respect commerce and some fields of psychology and all trades. I worked in roofing and construction to pay for my degree. (read: matrix oriented computational psychology)
>Claims to be an engineer after two or three years in university
5 years, because I'm retarded and failed some courses. But i did get my degree and that's what counts.
>Never actually designed anything, can barely even use CAD software.
I can't use CAD. I can use HYSYS process design and modelica.
>>

Define aliens.

There are boundary conditions for everything.

I can't.

It's complicated.

IQ don't mean much in life

Still don't, got to look up half the terms

>Believes himself to be a genius
Never could figure out way people called me that, which is ground to prove I am not
>Is only good at one narrow subject field and not even anywhere near the best at it.
Have corrected subject matter experts in multiple fields (i.e. kitchen design, satellite construction, global economics), some who have gotten Congressional summons.
>Used to be full of "clever" ideas as a kid
heck no, I was a "by the book" kid. Read and followed protocols to the letter. Wasn't till I started understanding the underlying mechanics did I really start making "clever" ideas.
>Now attacks any new ideas because his own childhood ideas were trashed.
New ideas are fun, even the wrong ones can be insitghful.

>Claims to not care about money
Lived out of a car in a Minnesota winter worrying about food and freezing to death, I have become acutely aware of my need for money if only to secure my survival.
>Laughs at non-STEM graduates for being "unemployable"
Some of my best friends are non-STEM drop outs, employable is just communicating value and everyone has significant value in their own way.
>Claims to be an engineer after two or three years in university
A engineering minor doesn't make me an engineer, didn't even pass qualifiers to take the FE tests
>Never actually designed anything, can barely even use CAD software.
A million dollar home that is under construction using my CAE designs, along with many other smaller projects.
>Has no evidence that there is no God but believes so regardless
I believe in God, specifically the Christian God who sent Jesus to died for my sins.
>Looks down on those who have no evidence that there is a God but believes so regardless
I do it, so why would I look down on other like me?
>Doesn't believe in aliens
I personally have met many aliens, some where good friends till they had to return home.

Rephrase: I drink milk for the protein and fat. GOMAD recommends it for hard gainers. Content of a gallon is: 128g protein, 192g carbohydrate, 128g fat.

I have a very high metabolism, I've been bulking by stacking fatty/protein foods and when I start cutting again I'll switch to a heavy carb diet.

The key ones, excepting the ones where you're being a whiny resentful faggot are:

>Above average IQ
>Believes himself to be a maths expert
>Poor diet, does little exercise
>Believes himself to be a genius
>Is only good at one narrow subject field and not even anywhere near the best at it.
>Claims to not care about money
>Laughs at non-STEM graduates for being "unemployable"
>Disdain for pop-sci

Except for the maths expert one, there are plenty of people here who actually are knowledgeable of several undergrad level subjects. A significant chunk of /sci/ demographic is undergrad students in mathematics, and in my experience they share these characteristics.
>>
>Above average IQ
Yes
>Thinks that this is relevant
Why it should be relevant?
>Believes himself to be a maths expert
Not at all, physics undergraduate here
>Only knows calculus in any detail
Linear algebra, fourier analysis, numerical analysis, etc. It's not really hot shit but is more than just calculus
>Terrified of his own eventual death, obsessed with immortality
Nha, eternal life will be boring, the only cool thing about it will be technology and society evolution, but at a personal level, it's just boring.
>Poor diet, does little exercise
Yes and no
>Believes himself to be a genius
No
>Is only good at one narrow subject field and not even anywhere near the best at it.
Yeah, because undergraduates are the best at whatever field
>Used to be full of "clever" ideas as a kid
Not really
>Now attacks any new ideas because his own childhood ideas were trashed.
I love to learn new stuff.
>Claims to not care about money
I really care about money, I'm a poorfag and I want a lot of cool things
>Laughs at non-STEM graduates for being "unemployable"
Nope, most of my friends and people I know are non-stemfags and they already have jobs
>Claims to be an engineer after two or three years in university
Physicist and nope, the undergraduate thesis is just the starting point to be a real physicist.
>Never actually designed anything, can barely even use CAD software.
I never cared about CAD
>Has no evidence that there is no God but believes so regardless
Because God existence depends merely by faith
>Looks down on those who have no evidence that there is a God but believes so regardless
Not really, I look down people that do and say stupid shit.
>Doesn't believe in aliens
Aliens as mere life form, yes, aliens as a superior ayy lmao life form, no
>Believes the universe to be infinite
We can't see shit of the universe
And finally
>Disdain for pop-sci
Nope
>Pop-sci is where he got all his knowledge on relativity and quantum mechanics from
Nope
>>
>Above average IQ
Yes
>Thinks that this is relevant
Yes. I think that intelligent people with high empathy experience life in a more subtle and deeper way. I don't mean an overall quicker comprehension of topics, but an overall feeling of what is relevant and fundamental.

>Believes himself to be a maths expert
Nope
>Only knows calculus in any detail
Yep
>Terrified of his own eventual death, obsessed with immortality
Terrified of own eventual death. In fact I often get shocked by even thinking about it.
Not obsessed with immortality. Just obsessed with death
>Poor diet, does little exercise
Usually in good health. My current job as a consultant inhibits my exercise time but I will quit in March
>Believes himself to be a genius
Gifted, yes. Genius, no.
>Is only good at one narrow subject field and not even anywhere near the best at it.
Not at all. I'm a jack of all threads. Just excel in physics a little
>Used to be full of "clever" ideas as a kid
I've never been creative from skretch. I do fit loose pieces together quite brilliantly though.
>Now attacks any new ideas because his own childhood ideas were trashed.
No but, indeed, over the years, you build a small filter with respect to ideas that are bollocks
>Claims to not care about money
Of course I care about money. Not that materialistic though. Just gimme my weed, a house, a laptop and enough money to get good food.
>Laughs at non-STEM graduates for being "unemployable"
No, but I do think that switching from STEM to any other subject is easier than the other way around
>Claims to be an engineer after two or three years in university
No

No I don't beleive in god but wished I had. Would waiting for death make more enjoyable probably.

Boy, that's spot on. It's bad enough that a hypermajority of the population believes it's "above average" (which is itself mathematically impossible). It's even more annoying that people with sufficient intelligence and education to know better, JUST DON'T.

/sci/ is positively infested with people who have received Physics educations and yet didn't pay one nanosecond of attention to what was said about ENERGY. They always believe there will be more and cheaper energy regardless of circumstances... as if the Earth formed around a "white hole" that spewed hydrocarbons from another universe made from oil.

>>

>Above average IQ

>Thinks that this is relevant
Relevant to what?

Relevant to being relevant. Just because your IQ makes the room uncomfortably hot, doesn't mean that you command the capital necessary to make a difference in your own life, much less the lives of others, and much MUCH less in the general Human condition.

Intelligence actually isn't that useful. In a broader sense, using intelligence to make tools to "adapt" to your environment, isn't really adapting at all. So from evolution's view, you're in a perilous state. And as cheap fossil fuels deplete, stranding much of Human industry, we're going to find out about DE-evolution soon enough. Humanity must return to a pastoral existence. It's written into our DNA and into the laws of Physics.

OP here. So am I. Wow wasn't expecting this at all, what's more everybody admitted to fitting at least half the list. Maybe I should become a psychologist? I am clearly deep inside all of your brains.

I noticed everyone disagreed with the "attacking new ideas". /sci/ is much more hostile to new ideas than other techy boards like /diy/, /k/ and /g/. Everything must be done by the book here so I assume they were once told off by their teacher for not doing so and now project it onto others

Absolutely everyone agreed to the "above average IQ" which can only mean one of three things a) You were actually insecure enough to pay for and sit an official IQ test b) You did a shitty internet "IQ test" and are actually deluded into thinking that it's not even more worthless than an actual IQ test c) You're an egotistical person who is merely assuming your IQ is above average when you have never even done the test.

Sure
>>Thinks that this is relevant
I don't particularly care either way

the best is hard to attain in science at such a young age.
>>Used to be full of "clever" ideas as a kid
I don't remember
>>Now attacks any new ideas because his own childhood ideas were trashed.
not at all, I welcome new ideas
>>Claims to not care about money
I care about money because I don't want to be homeless
>>Laughs at non-STEM graduates for being "unemployable"
not at all
>>Claims to be an engineer after two or three years in university
I don't study engineering
>>Never actually designed anything, can barely even use CAD software.
I would never use CAD for anything in my field, as far as I am aware
>>Has no evidence that there is no God but believes so regardless
Implying I'm an atheist
>>Looks down on those who have no evidence that there is a God but believes so regardless
Implying I care.
>>Doesn't believe in aliens
It's irrelevant, can't prove it either way yet.
>>Believes the universe to be infinite
I don't have an opinion
>And finally
>>Disdain for pop-sci
Bad pop-sci yes. People who spout pop-sci on /sci/, sometimes.
>>Pop-sci is where he got all his knowledge on relativity and quantum mechanics from
I actually have textbooks on Lagrangian Mechanics and General Relativity, even though I don't study physics, just because I'm interested in learning about it. Whenever I get the urge, I study some LM or other math

only the ones in underwater feminist african basket weaving. I like history, lit, etc majors
>Claims to be an engineer after two or three years in university
nah

yes, but I'm not in engineering

Actually, I am.

Last time I did calculus was for agregation.
>Terrified of his own eventual death, obsessed with immortality
could not care less

wrong, though my diet is far from perfect

I know "geniuses" from common standard and I'm glad I'm far from being one.
>Is only good at one narrow subject field and not even anywhere near the best at it.
True for majority of scientists
>Used to be full of "clever" ideas as a kid
Nope
>Now attacks any new ideas because his own childhood ideas were trashed.
Nope
>Claims to not care about money
Could care more

could give slightly more fucks

Nope
>Never actually designed anything, can barely even use CAD software.
Applied mathematician here
>Has no evidence that there is no God but believes so regardless
Nature in its real meaning is my God.
>Looks down on those who have no evidence that there is a God but believes so regardless
Used to. Then I grew up from highschool
>Doesn't believe in aliens
Yes I do.
>Believes the universe to be infinite
Define Infinite
>Disdain for pop-sci
lel no, really entertaining
>Pop-sci is where he got all his knowledge on relativity and quantum mechanics from
I have no understanding of quantum mechs. Usually, people in science do not think or brag tehy understand something about fields out of their work.

Technically speaking the earth is in a constant state of energy accretion. Solar wind constantly bombarding our lil' planet, so we do have a net energy surplus to take advantage of.

And on your little not about fossil fuels, once we run out of heavy hydrocarbons we're just going to start synthing natural gas and steam reforming it into hydrogen gas. That's basically a guarantee.

When your distribution is known to be a normal curve (which IQ tests were designed to be) median and mean are interchangeable.

My IQ is somewhere between 135 and 140. I am a white nationalist. I study physics at a top UK university and am debating whether to do a masters or to go straight to work. I keep myself fit and have a girlfriend who I plan on marrying. I am 6'1 and have a 7.5 inch dick

I have your stats except 1.5 inch less on my dick and 1 inch more on my height (a trade I'd make any day tb.h).

It's funny. All the lib. arts student types who think they are intelligent are mostly degenerate fuck-ups while the smartest students in my grad-school are all conservative nationalists (including the black international students who care about their own people), and also the only people on campus who care about their bodies and don't buy into the pseudo-nerd culture shit.
