What kinds of new STEM majors do you think there will be within the next 80-100 years? Plasma Engineer? Maybe Robotics and Artificial Intelligence will become an Undergrad major?
Which ones do you think will no longer be considered STEM/exist?

PopScience will become a STEM major. It will be based on memorizing disparate trivia and quoting Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory. The thesis will be to give a vapid but inspirational speech in the style of Neil DeGrasse Tyson while wearing a stereotypical nerd outfit like Urkel. Starting salary: 300 K

Space Welding will be a popular trade.
Aerospace Engineering will branch off into multiple disciplines like computer science has.
Eugenics will make a comeback once human cloning becomes ethical.
Gene-splicing will bring domestic cat-girls onto the market.

No one will remember BBT in 100 years you nerd.
Genetic Engineering will be an actual discipline, like Chemical Engineering.

Computer Science will still be STEM but it will change its name to Computing Science/Theory. Artificial Intelligence may be offered as an undergrad course.
Cybernetic Engineering will be a new discipline.

Chemical, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering will still remain the holy trinity. you will just get more electives to choose from and grad school will get more interesting.

I have taken the time to read your useless posts and compile the ultimate answer to this question:
-outer space engineers: for plantes and stars that are litteraly lightyears way
they develop teleportation and lightspeed travel solutions
-inner space engineers: For planets and stars relatively close to our planet, reachable with common technology like rockets
-genetic engineers: They develop machines that produce organs that can replace defect organs in humans
-ai engineers:There will be more than one kind of ai(for security reasons). They will develop Ai's for applications like production, human care, science (we won't know everything about science but all the science will be made by ai's)
-Meme engineers: The wolds need for quality memes is already huge and is believed to grow exponentially in the future

this desu senpai.
each engineering discipline will just have more focused areas that you can focus on like RF or Power Systems for electrical engineering.

How about some new trade jobs senpaitachi?
AI Psychologist. Advanced AIs will develop all manner of neuroses that will have to be debugged/diagnosed.
