hey /sci/ fags, if the universe wasn't intelligently designed, then how is it intelligible? If the universe was made out of nothing like you say . . . then there is no reason why it should have an intelligible structure anywhere.
You think you're intelligent or something ?

Of course I'm intelligent, I can abstract universals from particular sense data, e.g. I can abstract the universal "chair" from this object appearing in my vision. This requires intelligence.

And a computer can do that too. Egos like this aren't suited for science.

>if the universe wasn't intelligently designed, then how is it intelligible?
What does one have to do with the other?
>If the universe was made out of nothing like you say . . . then there is no reason why it should have an intelligible structure anywhere.
What a load of nonsense
3/10 bait, try again.
Just because things seem complex to you doesn't mean there isn't a simpler explanation for a lot of what's going on.
A burst of energy in all directions created matter. Matter is energy. There is no such thing as "nothing".

Does a universe need to be intelligently designed in order to be intelligible?
>If the universe was made out of nothing -
Okay, give examples of who claims this.
> then there is no reason why it should have an intelligible structure anywhere.
If the real "reason" for intelligible structures is intelligent design then you are not successfully arguing for it.

What he means is your cognitive capacity relative to other humans, not the presence of any intelligence whatsoever. The fact that you are unable to discern this signals that you are, in fact, unintelligent in the former sense.
