I would not call most of these memes, as I agree with >>5449824 and >>5449793
However I do not necessarily hate these posts inherently, I have come to see it as refreshing to see "Tea, Earl Gray, hot" every day, as it has been posted so long and generally keeps to one thread posted a day for it for example. I look and see that thread and feel right knowing some hardcore memer is going at it still. Only when they are forced way too friggin hard (spammed 1 bajillion threads a day in every thread multiple times) do I not like them so much. But even those have some charm..


What I really hate is those forced "memes" that are posted in short bursts autistically but only over the span of a few days or maybe a month but not long term. You just know the posters wanted a quick meme, they wanted to make their legacy but they didn't want to put in the real work, there wasn't real love behind their creation. They give up and don't try. And that is why they fail and I hate them.


Their creators do not have the patience to do it for years like the previously mentioned TEGH, which if the [s4s] archive is to believed, has been going on for more than 2.5 years now. [1] Yosho poster has been making a valiant effort since July 2016, almost a year now, though I feel he (feminine) or she (masculine) tries a bit too hard as you can see they have much more than TEGH despite posting for far less time. Also I'll admit a personal bias here in that I prefer and gravitate to certain threads, even if they are "forced" because they seem nice

The TEGH is at least a mildly interesting meta commentary on Star Trek and perhaps even on how limited we are to forsee the future. The rest of them are just spam, with the exception of steven pinker which is a passive aggressive autistic ragefit that has lasted for several years now. I don't know a lot about steven pinker but he gets mentioned as being an inspirational author for many modern philanthropists which probably makes him a much better man than whatever angry autist keeps posting him here.
