the job market is so sexist these days that I get more responses to my resume if I change my first name to the girl equivalent
i usually get 1 response out of 50 applications with my real name, but I tried just three times with the name "jessica" instead of "james" and I got 3 phone calls asking to do a phone interview with the "girl" on the resume
