Hello, [s4s], my dear friend.
I know I am breaking the golden rule a bit by going unironic here, but I wanted to make this post since some time and I thought that now would be good.

I don't exactly know in wich of those classes I fall in, at first, when I came here in early 2014, I didn't quite know what to think or feel, but I guess thats why

Back in 2014 I was a real piece of human sh*t, sh*tposting all day, being rude, not being productive, depresed thoughts and stuff. But one day, when scrolling through 4chan, wich I hadn't done in like 4 years, i saw some stuff changed, and when scrolling through different boards, i ended up on [s4s].
So, at first, I thought this board had some sort of joke going on with everyone being oh so ironic, and even though, thread opened after thread opened, lurking a bit, I started to understand. So, as I was pretty entertained, I decided that since I was bored of /pol/ and /b/, trying [s4s] would make for a fun experience.
I don't know why, but the whole "be nice to each other" and "be creative" set of mind started to actually get in my head, and I didn't even notice it. A few months go by, and I see myself changed; the egoistic stupid depressed useless rude me was the past, and I am not a delusional person, [s4s] improved my life. Some times, I would face a situation and be like "what would [s4s] do?" and tried to act as such. I know this sounds bretty autistic but it worked; and here is the net result:
-no more depression
-no more staying in my room for days without doing sh*t
-A pretty smart and good looking girlfriend
-better relationships with everyone
-friends I can trust and have fun with IRL
-No more depression
-A will to create stuff myself instead of always using other people's

And I could extend this list a lot more, but I think that those are the principal elements.
So yeah, even though I know that the niceness here might not be real, let me tell you something:
everything I have now is real, and very enjoyable.
[s4s] gave me the motivation to actually live, as a "normie" if you wanna call it that way, but if I
had to choose between my old life and my actual life, there's no hesitation, now's the choice.
And for all you gave me directly or indirectly, may it be friends, fun, a will, a motivation, or dubs,
I will be thankful until I stop breathing.
Never change, esfores, nor the people who post here, I want to thank each and every one of you IRL personally.

i dont know about all that shit but ill admit s4s used to unrinoically make me happy when i saw birds/nice girls constantly, like this is the reprieve from the storm
well the storm is back, bunch of /soc/ and /pol/ shit everywhere
it's an odd feeling when you come to s4s to escape all the garbage of 4chan only to realize it's being channeled here "ironically" of course.
