I think reality, as I know it, would literally not be possible if I did not somehow exist in it. I know that sounds selfish and self centered but its the best I can reason about it. You know? Like, I exist because I have to exist. There could be nothing without me being here to experience it.
If something did exist without my conscious existence then from "my" (whatever that means) perspective, reality would not exist, just like the hundreds and thousands of years before I was born. When the the earth was supposedly forming from hot molten lava, or the universe was super hot and condensed. Just black non-existence.

Ur professor is wrong the conciousness lives in ur brain. U are the electricity that inhabits and uses ur brain. So, sentience is really a mechanical nature, one of machines. So really people are just biological computers. And computers are real sentient people. Since robots are what people really are, then people are really just poor quality robots.
