I was one of the first people who started the Karen 'meme'. Yeah, that's how it all began; Me and some other fellows from /a/ thought it would be funny to pretend to like Karen, a random British loli. We didn't think too hard about it, figuring it as harmless fun. How could we at the time? But we should have considered the damage it might cause if it really worked. Not just to 4chan, but unbeknownst to us, the entire internet. It wasn't long before people started taking us seriously and giving Karen a chance, and what do you know, people who actually ENJOYED this shitty limey emerged. We were stunned, now the joke wasn't funny anymore. We had to stop things before it got out of hand. Unfortunately, it spread like cancer. Even after ending our involvement the Karen trend continued to grow, we couldn't prevent it. It engulfed /a/ and eventually 4chan. We even tried coming clean about the troll we made, but it was too late, and we were ignored.

I'm sorry /s4s/, I really am. A day doesn't pass by where I don't cringe and hate myself for what I did. Those friends I mentioned I can't even speak to anymore, since they ended up giving in and becoming Karen posters themselves. All this has made me uncomfortable enough that I'm considering moving on from the internet. But before I do that, if you could somehow see it in your heart to forgive me I would appreciate it. But even if you do, the damage has already been done and there's no way I can redeem myself, and that fact will haunt me always.

Sometimes I wonder, if we hadn't did what we did, could this all have been avoided? I wonder...

Hello S4S! Allow me to introduce myself. I'm weeb trash. I LOVE anime threads, however I also understand why people HATE them. Anime posters tend not to understand why people dislike them, and defend themselves by claiming that old 4chan was full of weebs, therefore s4s which is find being full of weebs too. This I think is fine, HOWEVER, weeb shit legit gets in the way of actual memes. There has NEVER BEEN a decent anime meme on s4s. PERIOD. What do we consider the good memes? Of course, we have CIASS and that porky pig combined with that one guy from seinfeld, kramer or some shit, and doge, and yee, and- well the list goes on. Those were all made in the older days of s4s, a time which I admit I didn't take part in (I only joined around when the pol raids were finishing off, so early 2015 I think??? (inb4 >you're from /pol/, no I'm not it was a coincidence I found this board around then)), although I can only assume was a time when there wasn't nearly as much anime. Now you can see where the problem arises: yes, I love anime HOWEVER, I love memes more. So rather than asking you to stop posting anime, I ask you to stop posting repetitive anime threads with nothing in them. Editing weed into anime pics is ok, it's almost a meme so I guess I'm ok with it, cute Karen threads and trap threads and that tier I love (who doesn't love a cute karen?? :3 !) however I think they're a bit to primitive and repetitive for s4s unfortunately. The absolute bottom of the barrel I have to say are BRRRBBBTTT threads, maybe it's just that none of the posted images are ever all that cute, but I just hate them so much: they're so repetitive and useless. I get it, it's a meme, you had your fun: now move along so the next meme can take your place. Awoo threads, safe day threads, and snek girl threads are fairly respectable because they're not spammed and they're decent memes (even if the girls aren't that cute). (cont.)

What you should get out of this rant is this: anime is A OK on s4s AS LONG AS they're decent memes. I look forward to possibly crafting some dank new wave of memes, all made out of anime with the rest of you guys in the future, however this board first needs to get cleaned up. Just remember THINK before you post. Ask yourself:
