Oh sure, they have awesome technological shit like top of the line smartphones in there, but what they never tell you is that most computers in Japan are still ye olde CRT monitor bone white behemonths we left behind in the 90s.

Fax is still the primary mode of communication for office work and cards aren't accepted in a lot of places. If something isn't on physical paper direct from the source, it ain't worth shit. Printing emails doesn't count.
