And Jesus, when talking about Hell, was actually talking about a landfill that stunk to high heavens and said if you die without accepting him, that's where you'll go.

If God/Jesus is all love and compassion won't he let your soul in heaven if you're truly regretful about your actions and not accepting him? Why does it only count if you only accept him when you're alive? It always seemed a bit unfair to me.
