Naples here. Back during Charley I lived in Naples Park so we had to evacuate. Now I'm more inland and didn't even think of evacuating before yesterday. Sadly I've got nowhere to go.
Charley's real suffering came from the flooding even in Naples Park, along with no power for a month. I'm worried about those two things again, and now I'm not worried about surge, but the wind will probably break my slider (3rd floor condo).
The wind is going to destroy a lot. The pier will probably get ripped away for good, either by wind or surge. Downtown will be under probably 8 feet of water. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Immokalee Rd ends up flooded past 951. Naples Park is probably toast, in fact, if any Naples bros are here, I'd say you need to get out to at least Airport Road, please. Even that's risky. Being here at all is. Stay safe guys.
