But that's Tony from the second game. It's incredibly difficult to complete a lot of the levels in HM2 without the use of guns, and Tony takes away the ability to use any kind of weapon, so you can't throw anything either.

Even among the fans Tony2 was still pretty rad even though Alex and Ash were the most fun despite how gimicky they were. None of their levels were actually hard though, Dead Ahead, Beard levels, and Richter levels were the brutal ones even on hard mode that took the kiddie gloves off.

I'm still being subjected to dead ahead, when I'm done with it I'll probably never play that level again. How did you beat it? I'm stuck on the screen with those two rooms with glass walls and patrolling dogs, the fourth screen I think. I always have trouble with the second screen with the thugs, or whatever they're called. The fat columbians. They always either reach me before I can grab a shotgun and kill them, or the guys with submachine guns get me through the big window.

In my opinion the first game had better gameplay. You were granted a lot more freedom in how you chose to approach situations, but in the second one you're forced into using guns a majority of the time. The story, soundtrack, and visual design were still great though. Great in both games.

Fourth scene of dead ahead is literally the most difficult in the entire game probably, the answer is to try and stealth kill as much as possible before alerting the clusterfuck patrolling the center. I remember abusing a small gap between two rooms but it's been a while since I had to deal with that also take a machine gun into the last room once you do figure it out. Hard mode makes the entire level an actual nightmare you can't wake up from.

It's not that screen, the screen before that one. With the two small rooms with armed guards, you have to hide behind the door in one after killing the guard inside, so the one in the opposite room can't shoot you. That part is simple enough, but when I shoot him everyone outside bum rushes the room I'm in and I'm instantly killed. Seriously considering finding a way to skip dead ahead, maybe there's a save file editor or something. Come back to it when I'm better at the game.

If you wanted to be a filthy cheater you could just use cheat engine to slow the game down and play it in slow mo. You'll just be tempted to use that crutch every time you hit a seemingly impossible part of the game though.

I've had to use it for parts of hard mode and I'm not even ashamed because of how bullshit they made it and I still haven't finished hard mode. Fucking Casualties is some real bullshit because of how precious ammo is for the fuck ton of fatties requiring you to knife like a million guys trying to shoot you at once.

I finished hard long time ago. There were couple of rough spots but it was manageable.

Time. I beat normal mode casually and then played each level over and over until I got an s rank on it. Then I went back and tried it again for full combo every level. I skipped over Dead Ahead and Casualties. Then I spent an 2 weekends and caffiene pills finishing up the last levels. Acts 5 and 6 literally took sleepless nights to full combo, and Release was super hard for me as well. I went back and tried Dead Ahead for 15 hours with no progress, so I beat Casualties first. I finally beat Dead Ahead and finished the game.

WAs stuck on it for a long fucking time too fuck Dead ahead.
What I did was bait the two guys in the second room with the guns by hiding behind the door (pic related)
Then if the RNG was good at the beginning of the level you'll have a TMP and a shotgun. Use the TMP to kill the dog and bait two fat guys and one TMP guy. Kill the TMP guy, pick up the shotgun and kill the two fat guys.
Then a shotgun guy should be coming out the third bottom room with a shotgun if his random pathing make him come outside, bait him like the previous two to get his shotgun. You can also do that before killing the first fat guys.
Repeat and complete the room.

I hate this room so fucking much, and I don't understand how the fourth one is harder I had a way easier time doing it.
