Watched Fight Club a few minutes ago. Probably the third or fourth time watching it, but this is the first time this has crossed my mind. Was wondering if something like it existed in real life, where regular guys got together to beat the shit out of each other after work. Do you think its a feasible idea to set something up where you live? I think it would be kind of fun, minus the missing tooth or hospital visits.

Fight clubs of their own have existed since the movie was made. Definitely before that too.
But they are not as novel as the movie makes them out to be, there is not much philosophical suspense to them, just guys beating the shit out of each other and if you don't lay some ground rules they go REALLY far and hurt each other bad. I've seen it.
