Sure, some might be completely insincere or, as you've said, would stab me in the back irl. But that would never happen. I'm pretty sure with how "social" we're all are we won't meet any other bot, not even mentioning becoming friends.

People being your friend and people caring are two totally different things. You're right, nobody on here is my friend, I don't know them like that and nobody on here knows me like that. That doesn't mean that I can't have genuine interest in what these people do, what they're working on, how shitty their day was, etc;
