I have a couple of close aquaintences who lived through the wars in Bosnia and Cambodia. It's no fun, even aside from the bullets flying and bombs dropping. No electricity, no clean water, no food, no gasoline, disease, etc. The actual.shooting is one of the easier things to deal with.
