I generally just ignore my birthdays, they are just like another day for me. I had no friends either, so only my family knew about it.
I remember being specially anxious about turning 18 because it meant millitary conscription, going to college and getting a drivers license.
Turns out I'm unfit for millitary service and too retarded to get a license, so there is that. And college was a bit better than high school, people didn't like me but at least I wasn't bullied.
