This kind of validation is exactly the problem with society. Nowadays, it's mostly showing through the perpetuation of the roastie menace, but it is just as destructive to men with the "nice guy" phenomenon.
I wouldn't consider myself an alpha by any stretch--I have social anxiety, am a KHV, and have very high moral standards, but like fuck if I'm going to compromise my morality for the sake of stroking my nonexistent self-esteem.
