How do you make friends?
I don't have any interests other than 4chan but I can't tell people in real life that I go to 4chan because it's not socially acceptable.
I try playing video games like path of exile and guild wars 2 where you can globally chat with people but people are more interested in playing the game than chatting.

So you get on the game just to try talking to people?
People make friends by having similar interests and sharing stories and experiences and shit like that. If you get on a game and try talking to people about random other topics, you will probably not have much luck keeping it going.
Honestly maybe try to join /vg/ guilds on wow or runescape. I prefer Oldschool but rs3 probably works too. These guilds/clans are filled with people that have the same situation you are in. NEET, no friends, grew up online, same humor, etc.
