Realize that personality types are a fucking meme. They're completely meaningless and humans are far more complex and unique than to be classified into 20 categories. Also realize you can be whatever you want and most of the time people will actually change themselves to fit "their" personality type.
Personality types are like zodiac signs for people who think they're too smart to believe in astrology.

I think that using these generals is a great way for the lonely (read: me) to be able to introduce ourselves to others and use the test as a mutual interest to talk about, but the idea of joining a discord server just makes my skin crawl
Up until yesterday I haven't even had a discord, but feeling alone has compelled me to make one
I would much much rather just talk to people one on one, you know? Group socializing is just too anxiety inducing.

INTP here. I suspect most INTPs here are depressed. If you want to improve socially, it's basically going to be about bringing out your inner ENTP. This is difficult if your depression has reduced your ability to explore your perceptions and has you in constant editing mode. Not only does it make it difficult for you to say what's on your mind, it's difficult to even generate something to say.

I've been taking Anti-depressants (and ADHD meds) for the last few months and there are clear differences in my ability to think and express myself. Sure, I still have some awkwardness, but it's more charming. People like me more. We're often not aware of just how impactful those subtle non-verbal cues are when dealing with people. The thing about INTPs is they've got an inner INFJ too, and tapping into that will make you overall a more likable person.

Not only like I said that group conversations/chats are just too much of a social situation for me to juggle, it just doesn't seem in the spirit of this board at all to congregate in another discussion forum where anonymity isn't the point.
