Anyone here ever spill bright red blood when taking a shit? It's happened to me before but all of a sudden it's gotten pretty frequent. Apparently as long as the blood stays crimson it stems from a minor issue like hemorrhoids, but I'm still kinda concerned.

Yes its normal. I've been having it for almost 10 years now. Don't freak out op.

Should see a doctor. If its bright red, its at the lower part of your digestive tract (darker red or black would mean its further up and is the result of blood being partially digested) but doesnt necessarily mean its minor. See a doctor.
>>
bright red blood means its external, so anal fissures/tears/hemmeroids. All minor, treatable things. Don't stress over it, but definitely do at least take some fiber caps, and maybe switch to a bidet?

I just realized, I've been eating horribly for the past few weeks. Like, cookies and soda for breakfast horrible. I don't know why I'm having this epiphany now. Thanks for the advice!

OP, are you me? I started getting it last Fall, but didn't worry about it at the time cuz I was using one ply TP, and it was infrequent. Recently started up again, and every time I Google it, the bright red description makes it seem like it's not that serious. Guess I'll just eat more fiber like other anons are suggesting
