It's a general information systems degree, but I think I fucked up by not pursuing many certifications (because poor and tests are expensive) and by not getting a degree that specialized in one field.

It could go better for you depending on the industry. With my degree almost every job I see requires 2+ years of experience working in the field. I don't know if every industry is like this, but I'm sure you'll be able to come out on top.
