Anyone else here /quitsmoking/? I'm almost done with day 5 now and It's actually going pretty good, although I'm eating like a fucking monster to compensate.
Abou to quit after I finished this pack. Any tips from you?

I smoked my last cigarette a few months ago. Didn't even keep track of the date because that made my habit too lifelike. I wanted to snuff it out completely. I don't even crave them now

I just kind of went with the flow last weekend, got so pissdrunk I couldn't stand even taking a smoke the day after, so one day became 2 and now I'm technically on day 6. It might be unhealthy, but get yourself lots of snacks and also chewing gum is nice as it keeps you occupied.

>want to smoke after eating
>eat so as not to smoke
>the more I eat the more I want to smoke
I quit almost a year ago, smoked for 8 years. Went through 2-3 months with nicotine gums and patches, while they kinda work i only prolonged it and finally went cold turkey. It was pure hell but so worth it now.

Do you ever crave to smoke now or is it like "wow, I can't believe I used to do that"?. I know your body and mind plays tricks on you at first when you try to quit because of physical dependancy just to get you hooked again, but after that part is over is there still a belief that taking a smoke would be nice?.
