honestly, this was a very long time ago. i have a very early memory of using youtube in 2006, to watch the playthrough of a cartoon network game...this is about the earliest i can even remember.

Earliest memory for me is browsing funnyjunk, a bit later newgrounds and ebaumsworld. Then digg and various tech enthusiast websites, YouTube included. Later from digg to Reddit, added social media once I got a few real friends. Then a year later added 4chan, then a bit later added imgur and almost never browse Reddit now.

I remember AOL very vaguely. Must have been about '94 or '95. I just remember choose your own adventures, and ate my balls sites.

I remember around junior high, my friend showed me Assassin on newgrounds. It was great, until one day my parents saw me playing Pico and got all moral-guardian on me. Only lasted for a little while, though- my parents are actually libertarians.

Yeah, I was 7 or 8 1998 and my tech-savvy uncle was the first person I knew with the internet and we all messed around on random chat rooms. It was pretty fun desu.

Ah yes that was an early start for me too, I think I actualy watched joe fish first but its funny how people are now so protective of their kids on the internet when back then no one gave a fuck.
Also it was hard to watch fucked up shit back then, you couldn't just hide in your room on a phone or whatever, you had to use a school pc or THE computer in your house only at specific times so the dial up was cheap.
