got a speeding ticket

>grey car passes me by
>realize it said "police" on the side.
>phew he passed me and hasn't turned around yet
>turns around quickly
>see the lights come on
>slowly stop on the side hoping it isn't me

>gets my info
>comes back with a nice 5MPH over ticket, downgrade from 11MPH or more, what a nice police officer
>only comes with two points instead of three and is twenty dollars less
>"you'll have to contact the court sir to setup a date."
>"oh great now I have to take off work" I muddle under my breath

Why couldn't he just give me impeding traffic, no points and I can pay the fine right away online. Save me the fucking time, now I have to go to court, wait and wait. Then I have to talk to some other person and tell them "I want impeding traffic." I am likely to get it to, as all I have ever gotten is impeding traffic in the past, and it never shows up on your record.

That's the worst, when the police pass you by on the opposite side of the road. You didn't even get a chance to slow down and avoid that shitty ticket.
