The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. I like the show, but I hate the fanbase and wish people would stop praising it as genius and cutting edge. It's witty at some points and can make you laugh at those parts, and at others the "jokes" are fucking annoying at best. I wish they'd drop the attempts at randomness and focus on writing more entertaining stuff. Also, as a side note I couldn't sit through a rewatch, so take that how you will.
