Why don't you try to start a new life in the French foreign legion ?

One of my mates was valedictorian of Saint-Cyr, went for the DGSI. He was well-versed into the history of the FFL, and I'm pretty sure it's way harder to get in than it used to be.
You gotta be really fit and already have a solid basis of French.
france needs to make a legion for robots and neets
they dont have to do anything important, just give them a grenade and send them into battle and hope they manage to throw it at the enemy before being gunned down

>One of my mates was valedictorian of Saint-Cyr, went for the DGSI
What ? Saint-Cyr is a military school and the DGSI is the French equivalent of the NKVD
>and I'm pretty sure it's way harder to get in than it used to be.
Kek, you should ask him how the Legion was back in the 70's
Today life in the Legion is litteral heaven compared to what it used to be
There's roughly 10 rejects for 1 intake, if you travel to France to apply you better be fucking sure that you're in shape physically and mentally.

You just need 1 year to be physically prepared, it's not like we NEETs don't have much time

>Today life in the Legion is litteral heaven compared to what it used to be
Never said the opposite. Just that it's way harder to get in.
>What ? Saint-Cyr is a military school and the DGSI is the French equivalent of the NKVD
And? There are a lot of ways to get in, Saint-Cyr is one of them.
Because anyone who willingly joins a mass murder organisation is subhuman.

Saint-Cyr trains officers, officers must have French nationality. If you aren't French you won't get in the Foreign Legion through Saint-Cyr.
I think they mostly want eastern Europeans, and people from the third world. I see the appeal though. Being killed in a huge gunfight in Mali beats the hell out of dying of congestive heart failure at 70.

But I never said he had to go through Saint-Cyr, read again. I said one of my friends who went through Saint-Cyr for something else was knowledgeable about the FFL.
Anyway it's garbage. France is against mercenaries, so the Foreign Legion is a way to get willing foreign fighters to rally to their cause. It's basically a PMC pertaining to the state.
