I totaled my 2011 Honda Civic today. Luckily I paid the insurance jew, but I still feel like absolute shit.
How the fuck do I get over this?

Well you're not dead anon. My dad is a police officer and he tells me that every other week they get a call of a guy who crash and die in a motorcycle accident. Limbs and broken bodies etc

I guess. When it first happened I sure wished I had died though.

Y'all know what a Civic is, right
I understeered my dad's corolla going too fast on a rainy turn, ran it into a massive hill and spent +600$ fixing it. Had a massive break down that day, but I got over it. A few months before that my coworker ran his car into a turb twice in 1 month requiring a complete realignement of the tire both times. People drop their brand new 900$ phones in the shitter every other day. In a few weeks you won't feel bad, in a few months it won't bother you. If it's a problem you can fix with money you have, then it's not a problem. Just gatta drive safer next time.

Took a turn a little too fast going into a parking lot during a Canadian winter and slid over a curb and into a private property sign I was shook so i continued to drive all the way over the sign (big mistake). It teared up the front of the car and messed up tire rotation. Probably the most shock I've been in my life and it cost 4000$ to replace and fix all the parts. Lucky I've been saving my money most my life and could afford it without dept. I rarely think about it and got over it within a month. I definitely learned to take corners more carefully in the winter.

Hey mate sorry to here about that, my friend crashed his Astra into a curb and it buckled his wheel pretty bad.
It all really depends who you speak to and how you speak to them, basically it smashed his drive train which costed him about 200 so about 400-500 in America. Try looking round scrapyards because the engine layout may be the same as other Honda Civics, try to avoid auto parts franchises because they will mug you right off. Good luck with your car anyway.
