Hey robots. I'm an eurofag who wants to live the american dream but I'm too poor to afford college in the US, so that option is out. The only one is getting a job there and from what I've read they'll only choose someone from outside of the US if no american citizen can do the job. And that is because hiring a foreigner costs a lot since they got to pay for your visa or some shit like that.
So how can I get to live and work in the US as an european?
Please answer seriously.

>tfw scandinavian countries have higher social mobility than the US
>tfw "socialist" countries beat the US in the american dream.

>economic mobility
>having half of your entire life's work go to taxes
Pick one.

I'm not gonna name my country, but I don't wanna live in a country where the minimum wage is $360.

community college? work part time and do it
>>39412087
Why not just get a job that pays more than minimum wage?

Not true. My stepmom was still a German citizen when she got a chemical engineering job in the city we live in, and even now, she still hasn't completely become a citizen and she's at the same company making six figures.

Because I can't get that without a degree. And even doctors and engineers jobs are really poor paid. The economy is shit overall.
>>39412135
No.
-Healthcare is shit
-Student debt
-Divorce and Alimony will crush you
-Land of the Religious autists
-Homicide rate through the roof compared to relatively safe european countries
No thanks.

Last 4 arguments are invalid since I don't plan on marrying anyone for now, I'm not religious and choosing a briefly crime-free area to live in is not that hard.
Anyway, I looked up on some community colleges' website and they want proof of having $25k+ in the bank. I don't know if I'm looking in the right place. Can someone help me?

>they want proof of having $25k+ in the bank.
What fucking college is that? I've never even heard of something like that.
Serious question, why not another, better european country instead of the US?

Scroll down to Application Documents.

its not the colleges, it's the visa requiremens I assume

this OP, why waste your money and try america when you got other European states right under your nose? Language barriers?
>>39411550
Why do you want to study in the US so bad anyway? Just do your university/college in your country or in some other european country then move to the US.
>>39412566
Yeah language barriers sound scary, but a few months are enough to learn a new language without much problems.
>>39412626
I don't especially want to study there. I want to live and work there. But as I said, I don't know how to get a job there without any experience (18, just finished high school). And I don't think any employer would hire a non-experienced foreigner.

Language is sometimes annoying even in my own country. Norwegian people come up too me expecting and get mad when I don't understand them.

How much do living expenses cost in Norway?
